German Marksmanship Lanyard - Grade 5-8

These Marksmanship Lanyards were instituted in 1936, and were awarded to qualified marksman of the German Army. This version of the Lanyard was awarded to marksmen who had achieved a grading between 5-8.

The silver bullion lanyard features the badge at the centre of its rosette. The badge in that of a silver shield, encircled by an oakleaf wreath. Two swords cross the shield, and the Eagle and Swastika of the Heer sit atop the badge.
