These medals were also known as the 'Medal for the Winter War in the East', or perhaps more informally 'The Frozen Meat Order'. Awarded for service on Germany's Russian front, these medals have the correct two tone finish as per the originals.
The two tone finish of the medal features a chemically blackened centre outlined by a silvered finish to the edge and helmet detailing. They are supplied with 6" (15cm) of the correct red and black ribbon.
