Volkswagen Commemorative Badge May 1938 - Bronze

These Volkswagen badges in bronze were introduced in May 1938 to commemorate the laying of the ground stone for the Volkswagen factory. They feature the text 'Grundsteinlegung des Volkswagenwerkes Mai 1938', with the maker’s logo and ‘GES.GESCH’ on the reverse alongside a pin fixing.

These die-struck metal badges are finished in an antiqued bronze plating and measure 40mm x 30mm.
