Army Paratrooper Qualification Badge

In 1936 the Heer decided to train their own Fallschirmjager troops, with these awards introduced to denote qualification as a paratrooper.

The gilt eagle at the centre is mounted on the silvered oakleaf and laurel wreath. The reverse is complete with a vertical pin for fitting and maker's mark.
