Prussian Order of the Black Eagle Breast Star

Founded in 1701, the Order of the Black Eagle was the highest award of the Kingdom of Prussia, and was awarded for varying military and civil merits.

This excellent reproduction eight pointed star is silver in colour, and bears a gilt and enamel centerpiece of the black eagle, with laurel wreaths beneath surrounded by the motto 'Suum Cuique' in gilt on a white background.
