A pair of Pegasus Patches, which would have been worn on the uniforms of British Airborne troops during WW2.
The embroidered patches feature the Ancient Greek hero Bellerophon riding Pegasus, this symbol continues to be used for paratroopers in the British Army. The left and right arm patches are embroidered in sky blue thread on a maroon wool backing.
