The Acme No. 470 Clicker - Polished Brass
Product Details
A fantastic Reproduction of the classic ACME No. 470 Clicker.
The Acme No. 470 Clicker, also known as a cricket, was used by paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division when jumping into Normandy for the D-Day landings on 6th June 1944. The clicker was sounded after landing to identify friendly troops behind enemy lines, without attracting the enemy!
These clickers have excellent sound quality and feel solid and secure when clicking. They are made with brass, have a thumb rest, and the clickers have 'The Acme' and 'Made In England' stamped on the end. The clickers measure approximately 5cm long x 2.3cm wide, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity and stapled cardboard box.
Made in the UK by J. Hudson & Co, they are made by the original company in the original factory, and using some of the original tools and dies!
