Product Details

A fantastic Reproduction of the classic ACME No. 58 Artillery Officers Whistle, stamped with a '1944' date.

Also known as the Ditch whistle, they were issued to RAF and USAAF pilots during WW1 and WW2. If a pilot had been shot down, they would attract attention using the whistle.

There is a keyring attachment point on the end of the whistle for attachment to jackets, as they would have been worn on flight jackets. The whistles measure approximately 4.5cm long and 1.5cm across.

This superb item is made in the same factory with the exact same tools and dies, and by the original company, Hudson and Co, who made the originals! These whistles are high-quality and are brand new, but they are finished with a distressed, aged look for authenticity, and are sent with a stapled carboard box.
